Making sure the students do the thinking

I just read this article and it really made me pause:

šŸ‘‰ ā€œWhoever Does the Thinking Gets the Learningā€ from Barefoot TEFL Teacher.

Here’s the link

It’s such a simple idea, but one that’s easy to forget in the rush of teaching—if we’re doing all the thinking, the students aren’t really learning.

It reminded me to step back more often, give space for silence, let them wrestle with ideas, and not jump in too quickly with answers.

Have a read if you have a moment—I’d love to know:

How do you make sure your students are the ones doing the real thinking in your classroom?

Let’s swap stories. 😊
