A Jungian Approach to Spontaneous Drawing

In our age of compulsive attention to technology there is a risk of losing access to spontaneity and creative instinctive sources. Many teachers and those in the helping professions are confronted with a lack of a means to dynamize attention and interest in learning, even declaring feelings of frustration or hopelessness. Spontaneous Drawing offers a method and a solution. The fact that spontaneous drawing is accessible to all beyond age, culture, religion, and often even beyond pathology, means that it may be applicable in many domains. One specific aim is to provide an authentic approach for teachers and educators, adding dynamic and creative dimensions to their profession. Details of course: - Discovering the structure and dynamics of the psyche as described by Carl Jung. - Learning to perceive a drawing based on the patterns of psychic energy and spatial orientation. - Understanding the power of symbol formation in drawings - The Symbolism of colors - Trauma and spontaneous drawing - Anthropological aspects in drawings - Working towards the mythical level, with Mythology, Legends and Fairy Tales. - Living rites of passage with drawing. Participants will achieve a widen and clearer perception of the background and the deeper intention expressed in any drawing. They will acquire tools for stimulating interest and initiating dynamic themes compatible with the psyche. They will have an authentic means of comprehansion and assessment. They will enter into an endless field of exploration of themes, archetypes and symbolic realms.
