The Challenge

AI can generate almost anything. But is it what your students actually need?

Ask AI to create a lesson and you'll get a lesson. But getting something genuinely useful for your students, your learning objectives and your teaching context requires more than simply asking AI to “create a lesson plan.”
The quality of what AI gives you depends enormously on what you give it. The real skill isn't getting AI to generate something. It's learning how to guide it.

Imagine a better way

What if AI became a thinking partner in your planning?

Imagine beginning with your learning goals and your knowledge of your students, then using AI to explore different ways of getting there.
You might ask it to suggest resources. Generate different approaches to a concept. Develop a unit. Create an interactive activity. Or take an initial idea and help you develop it further.

Explore more possibilities by using AI to generate different approaches, resources and ideas around the concepts you're teaching.

Develop stronger prompts by learning how context, specificity and structure can transform the quality of an AI response.

Build ideas progressively using incremental prompting to question, refine and develop an initial response rather than accepting the first answer.

See what happens when you change the way you prompt

One of the biggest differences between a generic AI response and a useful one is often the information you provide.
Screenshot 2026-08-15 161752.png

Throughout the course, you'll explore how to move beyond simple prompts and communicate more clearly with AI.

You'll see how adding context, defining what you need, requesting examples, specifying a format and asking focused questions can completely change the response.

You'll also discover the power of incremental prompting: starting with an idea, examining what AI gives you, and then questioning and refining it step by step.

Don't just ask AI for an answer. Learn how to have a conversation with it.

Meet your presenter

Hi, I am Dunja

Educational leader, teacher educator, and founder of Innovating Teachers Academy (InTA).

I spent many years working alongside teachers and supporting teaching and learning in international education. One thing became very clear to me: teachers don't need more technology for the sake of technology. They need practical tools that make excellent teaching more manageable. That's how I approach AI.

I don't believe AI should make pedagogical decisions for teachers. I believe it can take care of some of the repetitive preparation so that teachers have more time and energy for the decisions that really matter.

In this course, I'll take you through a practical approach to using AI for planning: start with your learning goals and your students, learn how to communicate clearly with AI, and then use it to explore resources, develop your ideas, and create richer learning experiences.
