Lifelong learners

Public·24 membres

Hello everyone!

I’m an educator who has spent more than 13 years teaching students from many different backgrounds.

One question has stayed with me:

Can AI truly personalize learning if it doesn’t first understand the learner?

I’m currently building a platform around this idea and would love to learn from others who are passionate about lifelong learning.

I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts:

What role do you think AI should play in helping people become better learners—not just faster learners?

Hi Angelo,

To me, AI should support a learner’s growth, not just help them move faster or automate instruction.

For learning to feel truly personal, AI needs to understand more than just what someone knows. It should consider their goals, prior experiences, context, motivations, and the ways they prefer to engage, while still respecting their privacy and making space for their own voice.

When used thoughtfully, AI can provide timely feedback, ask questions that encourage reflection, help identify gaps, suggest useful resources, and help learners notice patterns in how they learn. But it should complement educators, mentors, and human relationships, not replace them.

I think one of AI’s most valuable roles is helping people become more self-aware, curious, and confident learners over time.
