About this programme

Covering the science curriculum and making time for deeper thinking can seem like competing priorities. This programme introduces Epistemic Inquiry and the Let’s Think approach as ways to develop reasoning through science learning. Explore the roles of concrete preparation, cognitive conflict, social construction, metacognition and bridging, and consider how to design tasks that help students investigate and explain ideas while working towards curriculum goals.
