About this programme

Students sometimes wait for instructions or ask for help before attempting a task. This programme explores how routines, expectations and classroom interactions can help them take more responsibility for their learning. Examine practical ways to make thinking visible, support decision-making and gradually transfer responsibility from teacher to student. Use examples from your own classroom to plan changes you can sustain.
