Can I borrow one of your best ideas today?
Not the lesson you spent three days planning. Not the one that looked amazing on Instagram. I'm talking about that one thing that made you think,
"I'm definitely doing that again next year."
Sometimes it's the simplest ideas that end up making the biggest difference. And, honestly, some of my favourite classroom ideas over the years have come from other teachers.
So today, I'm hoping to borrow a few more.
✍️ I'd love to borrow one of your ideas. What's one activity or routine that worked really well for you this year?

As a substitute teacher in a Senior Kindergarten class, I was given a couple names of students that needed a little extra TLC (tender loving care)... You know the ones... I was extra attentive to one in particular, because I just wanted the lesson to go well. At the end of the lesson, he took my hand and that in itself showed that he felt well, safe and had a good experience. It was a really tender moment.
