COURSE
How can I bring sustainability into my language lessons without adding more work?
Use real-world signals of change to create engaging language activities that build communication skills and explore sustainability.
Discover a practical Futures Thinking approach for bringing sustainability into speaking, listening, reading and writing lessons.

The challenge
You want your students to explore real-world issues, but your priority is still language learning.
As a language teacher, you're always looking for authentic content that gets students talking, thinking, reading and writing. But how do you introduce sustainability without adding another topic to an already crowded curriculum? And how do you make complex global issues accessible to learners with different language levels?

IMAGINE A BETTER WAY
What if the world around us could become your language learning resource?
Imagine using a new community initiative, an innovative solution or a change in everyday behaviour as the starting point for a language lesson.
Your students could describe what they notice, ask questions, discuss different perspectives and explore what might happen next, all while practising the language skills you already teach.

Find Authentic Language Content: Use real-world signals of change as meaningful resources for language learning.

Develop Communication Skills: Turn signals into speaking, listening, reading and writing activities.

Encourage Hopeful Conversations: Help students explore future possibilities without creating anxiety or overwhelm.

IMAGINE A BETTER WAY
What if differentiation
didn't have to take hours?
For years, differentiation has often meant creating multiple versions of the same lesson.
But what if you could keep the same high-quality pedagogy while dramatically reducing the preparation?
